I'm Concerned For Michael Jackson's Children

by Bonnie Lamrock / November 19, 2009

.

It's nice to hear about the Karate lessons and the trip to Captain EO, but when we start to read about stories concerning Prince Michael's alleged skin condition and things like that, It all reminds me so much of when Michael was alive.

Didn't we start to read stuff like that about Michael? I think the media are really crossing the line.

Think about it, this is the 'honeymoon' period, the children are young and cute now, the media are on the 'bandwagon' because it's all the rage right now, but wait until the children get older, just watch what the media does to them. Just wait and see.

I wish 'some' of the family member's would stop talking about the children as well, at least not mention the private things, It's their own personal business, they just lost their dad 4 months ago for crying out loud.

If the fans are curious, (and of course we are! ;-)), then I think all the Jackson family needs to say is that the children are 'ok', or 'they're coping for now', no need to elaborate on the details of each moment they cry, why they cry and how they cried.

Even if the kids gave their permission for the family member's to talk, I don't think they should. They should know better than the children, they're adults!

I love 'all' the Jackson's, don't get me wrong, but these are just some of my feelings, I hope they forgive me and understand where I'm coming from if ever they read this letter.

I think the adult family member's should be more like Mrs. Jackson. She doesn't say anything more than needs to be said. She knows what she's doing. She's doing exactly what Michael did when he was alive, (only without the masks)

Fans, regarding the stories that the media are sure to come out with in the years to come regarding Michael's children: Please let's try and listen to those words Michael sang in his song 'Tabloid Junkie', remember those words? "Just because you read it in a magazine, Or see it on the TV screen, Don't make it factual"

But for now, while the children are young, if you see a story about the children's health and become concerned, please remember that I'm sure whatever it is, it will be handled just fine by Mrs. Jackson and her doctors, no need for the world to know about it.

So let's be careful not to believe all this stuff and just believe that Michael's beautiful children are safe in Mrs. Jackson's hands. We should also trust that if there 'is' anything that we need to know, Mrs. Jackson will let the fans be aware.

I think we all need to pray for Michael's children that they won't suffer at the hands of the media like their dad did. I feel that Michael not only left his children in Mrs. Jackson's care, but he also left them in our care.

So whenever you see an article that crosses the line, look for the 'contact us' area on that page, (usually on the bottom), and write them how you feel. I think this will help.

Let's pray too. ;-)

Bless you guys!

Love,

Bonnie

PS- MJ-Upbeat is avoiding now posting any photos of the children. We've been avoiding it strongly for the past month. It's been hard, because it's so tempting. They're so adorable. ;-) But we remember what Michael wanted. He kept them away from the public eye, remember? So why should things change now that he's lost his life?

A sweet story here and there is ok, but no picture's and no 'speculative private' stories.

This letter I've written for the children today reminds me of a letter I wrote back in May of 2003 about Michael....The article mentioned if he were to ever leave the earth that the world would only 'then' realize what a gift it had.

I even mentioned that the song 'Gone Too Soon' would be used......and it indeed was.

I don't want this letter about the children to become true and for us to look back at my words yet again someday as well. I don't want Michael's children to get torn apart by the media and to suffer as their dad did.

Here is that article I wrote back in May of 2003 that ironically came true......
