Dear Mrs. Jackson,
I am writing to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I don't know if it helps or not but your son Michael has been the source of endless smiles for me since I was a little girl. When I was in grade school, I listened to the Jackson Five. I can remember dancing to The Jackson Five's Third album with a friend. When I got older, I was working at Sherman Oaks Camera and Sound, where the tapes from Thriller were being brought in for duplication. I watched Michael's talent and genius, mesmerized, for hours. In the nineties, I loved Dangerous. Throughout my life, your son has been a source of love and inspiration for me. He was the personification of love. He had the greatest, most compassionate heart. Perhaps Michael was just ahead of his time and the rest of us needed to catch up. I believe mediocre people didn't understand Michael Jackson because he dared to be different. Society cannot bind the hands of genius.
It's taken me months to ingest that he is truly not with us anymore. I take comfort that he is at peace now and I wanted you to know how much he is missed. He was eccentric, soft, fragile, kind, caring, compassionate and vulnerable. Michael Jackson always said "I love you" to his fans. I loved that about him.
God bless you and fill you with those beautiful children.
Love, blessings,
"Hannah from Woodland Hills".
