A Poem by Cindy 'TIME'

'TIME'

Grains of sand started long ago

.

He never knew, he just didn't’t know

.

The journey he’d lead along the way

.

How special he was, each grain, each day

.

He was a pebble causing a ripple a wave

.

The roads he’d build, the roads he’d pave

.

He reinvented the steps from before

.

Tweeked a bit, but adding something more

.

Something new, something bright

.

Deep inside burned a light

.

He was so much more than a singer and dancer

.

This cruel world will never know the answer

.

His courageous battle of “Black and White”

.

To fix the wrongs and make them right

.

We didn't’t know it nor did he

.

But he held inside a magical key

.

The key to unlock all joys held inside

.

His voice and dance spread the worldwide

.

The key to unlock all joys repressed

.

Sharing his love was always expressed

.

The grains of sand continued to flow

.

He was only a child just a day ago

.

Next thing you know he’s the “Man in the Mirror”

.

Through his life few friends, never a peer

.

With the love he’d spin a new web design

.

He’d conquer our hearts forever to reign

.

If only we could go back in time

.

He wouldn’t be what makes the moon shine

.

How he’d change us all for the better

.

He’d work tirelessly, he was a real go getter

.

The rutted path he’d pave in gold

.

Him performing on stage never got old

.

How he did so much we’ll never know

.

LOVE for him will always grow

.

I only knew him from a distance

.

But I’d trade my life for his, in an instant

.

But in that final moment he’d find a new spark

.

He’d stop the time in history to bring light to the dark

.

He’d awaken our senses, our drive and desire

.

Not knowing quite what hit us in a quagmire

Planning the greatest show on this earth

.

The show was in his heart ever since birth

.

If only we could turn back the hands of time

.

We could bring him back, he was so prime

.

We’ll always have our memories, always his song

.

Finally meeting with his maker, he knew all along

.

The hourglass of time, sands descending to below

.

Until your time runs out NEVER let go
