A Poem by Karen: Easter Morn'

Easter Morn

See the sleeping Earth awake
The meadows morning mist.
The blossoms of the daffodils
With sparkling dew's been kissed.
Crokas shyly poke their heads,
Above the half froze ground
To unveil their coat of scarlet,
Where once they were not found.
So too, the tulip strikes a pose
In every shade and hue.
To dot the landscape as we know
With pink and red and blue.
At last the winter takes it's leave
To reveal what's underneath.
For every plant that God has touched
And crowned with floral wreath.
Still don't forget the violet sweet
In her the woods run deep.
The forest strewn at every turn
To gather where they creep.
And thus, the trees, with arms outstretched,
Will bow with foliage green.
Buds hold the promise still to come
Of riches yet unseen.
In this, the touch of nature's art
Is cast upon times hours.
Like patterns of embroidery
On every field and flower.
And so it is, the Heavens merge,
Earth's canopy is formed.
An archway of rebirth anew,
On this, it's Easter morn.

Thinking of you, Michael this
Easter and always, Love Karen
