Another Great Poem by Joy C -
'Scream The Earth Song'
Do you hear those sounds?
Such scary sounds
It’s moaning in pain
These mounting sounds
It hurts deep, deep down
It feels like a drop from horror
An endless furrow
Such gashing sounds
Do you hear those sounds?
It sounds like wondering hands on soil so toiled
Precious hands so many hands
Toiling and toiling
Working hardly it makes you gaze
Endless toiling it makes one hurt
I’m in a daze, what dismay, what a sight
Behold their mounting pain
I can’t imagine such a distain
Now I hear the gaudy laughter
The tingling sounds of shiny coins
And bundling masses of dirty cashes
I hear their whispers and smelly deeds
With greed for creeds
It makes me muster
I want to scream
I hear the surrounding sounds
I dream those sounds
Those scary sounds of sorry toiling hands
Those sounds of hurt, hunt, and hunger
Running from dust to blunder
The cries from the earth, ours bothers, and sisters too
Our home, a home no more
I want to scream
Will these sounds make me deem
Stop! I muster
I drop and gaze at the sorry sight
With no might
Its gone I say
No more smiling faces
No more strappy puppies
Or napping kitties
Just greedy faces and white off traces
Then a scream I hear and I awake
To the sounds of my bubbling pup
Just a dream it was
A goading dream that made me wonder
My why?
Then I look in the maze of mirrors
Images of me
A distain of me
No more! I scream
I scream the earth song
Let them be and be anew
Can you?

Thank you Joy C! Beautiful as always.
