Judge Delays Merchandise Deal
On Monday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff declined to rule on merchandising deals after Katherine Jackson, Michael`s mother, raised several issues.
Beckloff also wants to appoint an attorney to represent the interests of Michael`s children along with Katherine Jackson.
The proposed agreements are between Michael Jackson's estate and concert promoter AEG Live and merchandiser Bravado.
They would get worldwide rights to sell Michael Jackson-themed goods and exhibit memorabilia.
Beckloff said he will decide on the issue in a week, if not sooner.
