Last Week To Win Julien’s '09 Music Icons Catalog
MJFC will be holding a raffle for MJ fans around the world in September in conjunction with Julien’s Auctions' and The 2009 Music Icons, featuring Michael Jackson’s historic white glove from the 1983 Motown 25 television special.
This raffle will be exclusively for the 2009 MJFC Supporting Members and Forum Gold Members. In addition, those fans who register to become a Supporting Member or Forum Gold Member by September 30, 2009 will also be eligible to win! We will be drawing 3 names in October, and each will receive a copy of Julien’s Auctions’ ‘Music Icons’ Catalog! In Addition, 3 lucky runners up will receive a copy of the Michael Jackson NME Magazine Tribute Edition.

On November 21, 2009, Julien’s Auctions will auction off the historical white glove Michael Jackson wore in his performance of Billie Jean at Motown 25 television special. In addition, several other historic Michael Jackson costumes and artworks along with items from Madonna, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain and many other “Music Icons” will be for sale.
Julien’s Auctions has brilliantly displayed all of these items in their 2009 ‘Music Icons’ catalog. The catalog is a full-color limited edition collector’s auction catalog, which will include photos of all the property offered for sale.
Included in the catalog are photographs and a detailed description of Michael Jackson’s white glove from his 1983 performance of Billie Jean at the Motown 25 television special where he performed the Moonwalk for the first time as told by Walter Orange, one of the founding members of the Commodores.
Also among the rare Michael Jackson items offered for sale are: a stage-worn fedora hat worn by Michael in his performance at the 1995 MTV Music Awards with a letter from Lisa Marie Presley Jackson stating its provenance; zombie costumes from the Thriller video; a stage-worn costume from Jackson’s final United States concert in April of 2002; Michael Jackson’s stage worn “Bad” jacket signed by the man himself; record awards, and other property from the historic career of the King of Pop.
