Keshia's Essay About Michael Jackson

.

Out of all the people in the world, Michael Joseph Jackson is the most honorable man I have ever known. Through it all, he was the one who have made things possible for all black people. I mean, if it wasn't’t for Michael, we, as blacks, wouldn’t be entertaining the world with our talents, breaking racial grounds for MTV, making history, and Walt Disney wouldn’t have black characters like Captain Eo and Princess Tiana from Princess and the Frog. In my eyes, I didn't care what he is and I know that he always keeps things real with others.

A hard-working-entertaining-businessman like him had created many things in music, poetry, and movies. Michael was the key ingredient to every music in which he wrote. It has come to my attention that the songs he wrote such as Man In The Mirror, Heal the World, We Are The World, Earth Song, and so much more, he did it all for a reason: Michael was truly touched by God to come up with many God-given talents to entertain and share lots of love to all people the way God would want all of us to do.

Thankfully, his music has motivated, taught, and cured me a lot! All of the people don’t even know or understand who Michael Jackson  really was because they were too busy judging him and not looking at the bigger picture of where is wrong at or what went wrong; it is mainly because of the brain-washment of the Tabloids and the Paparazzi.

The generosity of Michael was totally unforgettable when he took the time to donated every cent and every dollar from his tours give to many different charities, extended many gifts for the holidays to those in need, brought sweet relief through his music to the victims of wildfires in California, Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, September 11, 2001 victims, and including the earthquake in Haiti.

As I have learned the news of his death, I have fallen on my knees and began to weep in grief.  I have seen the complete memorial footages, wrote over 10 poems about him, and I even wore a heart-shaped locket with him inside.

There was so  much that I have learned and loved about Michael. But because of him, I finally came to my senses on what my real future goals would be for me to have faith in, and that is focusing on being a Woman In The Mirror by doing things differently like Michael: Wearing  a white or black glove that contains pink diamonds, become a multimillionaire to donate million of dollars to many charities, help putting a stop to animal cruelty, being a curvaceous entertainer, visit many senior citizens (even Michael’s mother Katherine), and just do everything that needs to be done in order to Heal the World.

However, I loved Michael, regardless if we have not met. Now that I learned and known about him, I’d pronounce him saying, “Michael, I thank you for being my Angel of Love and

my Man In The Mirror. Whereever I am led, whatever I must do, I will always love and miss you, for I know that you are like wind underneath my wings.”
