Lionel Richie's Daughter Befriends Paris Jackson

The daughters of pals Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie have become best friends following a playdate on the Saturday before the King of Pop died in June.

Hello singer Richie is thrilled that his daughter Sophia and Jackson's girl Paris are pals - because he was very close to Michael.

He says, "Michael and I have been trying to get them together forever and ironically enough they had a playdate on that Saturday before he died. That was our first-time meeting."

"We met backstage and they (girls) have been inseparable ever since."
