Tokyo, Japan …...The New Sanno Hotel Ballroom in Tokyo, Japan was the place to be on Saturday, August 28, 2010, where throngs of fans and supporters of the late “King of Pop,” Michael Jackson, were entertained and mesmerized by Jackson’s eldest sister, Rebbie, when she performed at the book release of Michael Jackson’s confidant and businessman in Japan, Broderick Morris.
Morris released the book, “THE REAL COMEBACK Japan 2006,” a positive glimpse of the late pop star’s 2006 trip to Japan, in words and pictures, on what would have been the 52nd birthday of the late Michael Jackson.
Rebbie Jackson took to the stage and sang fan favorites, “Fever,” a Jackson 5 classic, “I’ll Be There,” and “Centipede,” her chart-topping hit written, arranged and produced by her brother Michael.
In his book, “THE REAL COMEBACK Japan 2006,” Mr. Morris, who sponsored Mr. Jackson’s visits to Japan in 2006 and 2007, gives an intimate and positive, insiders account of his vivid experience and personal relationship with Mr. Jackson, and shares warm “behind the scenes” stories as well as conversations between the two of them.
Morris will be releasing a documentary film of the respective trips of the “King of Pop,” to Japan in March, 2011. The book design of “The Real Comeback, Japan 2006” was created by Mrs. Haruko Tsutsui of AD PRIME AGENCY. The book cover artwork was designed by famed Japanese artist BOSSHIKO for kiske3u.
