Michael Jackson Fans: Head To London O2 Arena For Upcoming Exhibit Of His Memorabilia

The show will open in London's O2 Arena where Jackson had been scheduled before his death to kick off his new tour.

The O2 arena is a state-of-the-art venue with sight-lines from every angle, crystal clear acoustics, obscenely comfy seating, wide concourses between aisles and a huge variety of snack and drink options to enjoy throughout the show.

The arena itself sounds quite special with bars, restaurants, and movies. and apparently an interactive museum of popular music. They've even made sure to add lots of bathroom facilities --  548 toilets.

But, back to Jackson -- AEG Live (a subsidiary of Anschutz Entertainment Group) was preparing Jackson's 50-concert comeback tour when he died June 25th , and now plans to open the exhibit instead.

Target date is the end of October. However, through Arts and Exhibitions International the company also presents well-respected touring exhibits.

The current plan calls for a three-city tour spread over two years and could feature items from Jackson's Neverland Ranch as well as items slated for the "This is It" shows in already scheduled for London. Los Angeles is another possible stop for the tour.

What's actually going to be on display has not yet been determined.

However, the company has every reason to be thrilled with the judge's decision to allow AEG Live to handle the tour. AEG has gone from being a potential creditor to Jackson's estate with millions of dollars in claims to becoming a partner in its success. (Source: Examiner.com)

If you can't get to London, and you don't want to wait for the show to come to Los Angeles, Robin Leach reports King of Pop Michael Jackson’s This Is It concert rehearsal footage will be released as a full-length movie on Oct. 28. Sony Pictures confirmed this afternoon that tickets will go on sale Sept. 28. The film is expected to include footage of the final dress rehearsals at Staples Center in L.A., where Michael performed the night before his death.
