Moon you've come to inspire again.
Bring him with you if you can.
Thrill us with his moonwalk dance.
Keep him close, give us the chance,
To feel his presence, that starlit glow
To hear the voice we've come to know.
Please chase the emptiness away,
And bring his magic back today.

Moon, you're particularly bright tonight.
Keep him always in our sight.
Let us remember his message clear,
Of brotherhood, peace and good cheer.
To live each day like it's your last,
Because time is fleeting and oh so fast.
Bring his wonder and innocence back
And show the world what it desperately lacks.

Moon, you're still mysterious to me
You won't reveal all to be.
Why you've chosen to conceal that part,
The one that stole away his heart.
I watch your facinating ascent,
And ponder the happenings and what they meant.
They'll never be another like him again.
With his beginning, there is no end.
