My 'This Is It' Review
By Angela Latino
Only one word came to mind after seeing this amazing movie, 'Wow'.
On Wednesday, October 28th, I saw 'This Is It' and it was everything I imagined it would be. I must admit, when news initially broke of Michael Jackson's plan to perform 50 shows in London, I, like many, remained skeptical... Why was Michael doing these concerts? Was he financially motivated? Was he pressured by industry heads? Or was he finally ready to dust off the ol' crown and embark on the biggest comeback in history. Could he do it? Is he up for it?
The answers to these questions have now become as clear as Swarovski crystal. Not only was Michael Jackson ready for these shows, he was capable, focused, and down right excited!
Michael's creative juices were flowing like never before, he was the perfectionist we always knew him to be, paying attention to even the smallest of details.
Michael Jackson was about to blow people's minds.
This film is bitter sweet for any Michael Jackson fan but sadness is chased away by moments of humor and tons of foot tappin' music. Michael Jackson returns to his true artistry showcasing his live vocals, precision dance and most of all, the ultimate performer. Most importantly, you'll see what Michael had in store for his fans. A once in a life time look at a creative genius at work...
I'd never seen anything like it. On a scale from 1 to 10 I'd give it an 11. Please, go see this film, buy it on DVD and share it with anyone who is willing. The world needs to see Michael Jackson at his finest, his highest and most importantly, his happiest. If anything, this movie proves that Michael Jackson died a happy man and as fans, we should be proud.
Bravo Michael! I am sorry I ever doubted you... I love you.
Love,
~Anji~
