'Renaissance Whispers'

Oh, gentlest soul to bind
My heart with love, dear valentine.
Captive of the rapturous embrace
You come and go without a trace.
To you my endless mind entreat
The memory of one so sweet.
And chase the silent tears away
I bid farewell, but still you stay.
The rose of red on bended knee
To bow with welcome symphony.
Aura of stardust once enchanted,
Come to me with gilded magic!
With hands clasped tight, I look to thee
On foaming streams serenity.
They'll be no darkness for this day
Only the lanterns light our way.
With the subtle nuance flow,
The windswept cares of we to go.
Even the painted lilies white
So to comfort you in flight.
And offer up a prayer that this
Will never be our final tryst.
