Somewhere She Waits
Somewhere she waits for true justice to be
done,
But no amount of justice
will bring back her precious son.
Memories come flooding in of his younger
days,
When she held this baby in
her arms, it was just like
yesterday.
She can still hear his
laughter and see his tiny feet,
Dancing to the rhythm of the washing machine's
beat!
She sat and she sewed his
costumes, while
People took notice
of his name, and watched with a
Mother's pride as her boy shot straight to
fame.
She raised him to care for
others less fortunate than
himself.
Because God taught us
in Love we are duty bound to help.
And when he was in his deepest, darkest
place,
It was she who stood by his
side in courage and in Grace.
She
wonders how it could all have come down to
this?
Her child so tender and
loving, is no longer here to kiss.
Sometimes the pain of his loss is so
strong
She doesn't know where
she'll find the strength to carry
on.
But she also remembers what
she taught him all those years
ago,
You have to fight for what
you believe in and on the show must
go.
So she prays as she watches,
to see another's fate.
At night
she cries silent tears
Somewhere
she waits...
Dedicated to
Michael's mother, Mrs. Katherine
Jackson
May the pain of his loss
lessen with time and healing.
With much love, Karen
