'Steward Of The Earth' An MJ Poem by Karen
I'll hear you in the sound of the waves
That come crashing to
the shore.
I see you on the wings of a gull,
Where in tranquility you ever soar.
When the wind kicks up, I
see you dance
In the swirling, crackling leaves.
When nightfall comes, the fireflies light,
And the magic's in
the make believes.
The Monarchs flutter to and fro
To follow what was in nature's plan.
Who knew you would
capture the Steward's Crown
When Mother Earth needed an helping
hand?
And when the moon is full and shining bright,
In her glorious majesty
I think of you looking out at
her
With childlike curiosity.
It's the ebb
and flow of time gone by
Of life's little mysteries.
How that Moon is never without her Star,
You've made your
greatest History.
So leave your cares among the Lillies,
Whose fragrance refreshes the most agonized soul
Where
in the Grove of Living Beauty,
You left us with the most
passionate plee.
That at once became our duty.
You with that crown, for all eternity.
