The Jackson Family Foundation

As you may know, The Michael Jackson Fan Club is working together with the Jackson Family Foundation in making a dream come true. The dream we share is to create a lasting tribute to Michael Jackson and his family as the Jackson Family Museum, the Michael Jackson Performing Arts Theatre and hotel complex in the Jackson's hometown of Gary, Indiana.
As fans you may recall Michael's 2003 visit to his home town of Gary,
Indiana. During a press conference with Gary Mayor Scott King, Michael
stated he wanted to help develop a performing arts center for the city. The center will be named the 'Michael J. Jackson Performing Arts Center.' According to mayor King the singer will support the project in any role he feels comfortable with, for example helping with the design or fund-raising. Michael Jackson added that being back in his hometown gives him a "wonderful feeling" and that he feels so much love that he feels like a king. MJFC has had many inquiries from our wonderful extended family about how they can help make Michel's wishes a reality, so this newsletter is to explain how.

Through this important social network, you will be an integral part of the process by helping to raise awareness about the project, support fund raising, remain current on the project's progress and keep the memory of Michael vibrant during the journey.
