This is not it Michael you are not gone,
you dance in my heart your legend lives on.
I will never stop loving you that I can't do
I will keep you alive I will continue
to cherish and treasure the legacy of you
You're not gone or dead not to me
I still have you you still come to me
and for that I thank you with all of my heart.
I love you more now than I did at the start
I know that no matter how far we are apart
my love for you will never die
it shines down on me like the sun from the sky
on wings so delicate like a fragile butterfly.

This is not it for you're with me always
in little things in many ways
I will treasure and love you for all of my days.
You dance in the shadows when few can see
but I know you're there when you smile at me!
In the gentle summer breeze
that blows thru the trees,
or the joy in a laughing baby's eyes
a small boy or girl running with no care
that's how I know you're always there.
You asked it so plain "Will You Be There?"
and I answer "Yes, because I still care!"
Your legend lives on in the hearts of your fans
your message of love forever stands
as the gift that God gave us to have for a while
so Michael I think of you often and smile.
