'Did More Good' Than People Know

Music legend and upcoming "Drop Dead Diva" guest star Liza Minnelli opens up about her late friend Michael Jackson, who she says did "more good than anybody will ever know."
"I had good luck," Liza says, comparing her life to the late King of Pop. "I had good friends. I had great parents, and I did not have people using me every second of my life. ... I did not have people looking at me as a commodity without somebody else there to say, 'Don't treat her like that.'"
Liza said of her friend Michael, "Think about it, that kid did more good for people than anybody will ever know, and all of his friends know it."
Liza said that, these days, trash talking is fashionable, saying of Michael's life, "Somebody is making money, still, off him."
Liza was joined by Paula Abdul at a "Drop Dead Diva" party thrown by the executive producer of the Lifetime TV series, Craig Zadan. Paula also responded to questions regarding the tragic death of Michael.
"There's always the next day," the former "American Idol" judge said. "There's always tomorrow and as bad as pain may be, you know what? There has to be an overwhelming percentage more of passion for life."
Both Liza and Paula will make guest appearances on "Drop Dead Diva" -- airing Sundays on Lifetime TV. Liza's episode also includes guest stars Rosie O'Donnell and Delta Burke.
