"When I'm Gone"

When I'm gone, will you remember
To leave the light turned on?
To always keep watch
And sing the children's song?
Will you promise to never lose hope
And keep it ever so close?
To bring the smiles with you
"Cause that's what I love the most".
And when I'm gone, in my memory,
Don't light a candle for me.
Try instead to spread the Love
Let it fill the air so free!
Think of me when the tide rolls in,
And the seabirds are on the wing.
I'll be there when the winds change course
In them you'll here me sing.
I'm the Child that's left behind,
The boy that hangs in the balance.
Suspended in time, what you will find,
In all that's right and true in Love.
