Kids Day Tuesdays
Kids Day is every Tuesday at the Fair; all kids 12 and under receive FREE admission all day. The Carnival will offer $1 carnival rides for everyone until 11 p.m. (Minimum height and safety requirements apply to all rides).
Senior Fridays
On Fridays, admission is just $10 for seniors 62+, before 8 p.m. Plus FREE wheel rides in the carnival!
Read to Ride
This fantastic program offers kids 3 free ride tickets for simply reading 3 books! Kids in grade K-8 are eligible and need to fill out a Read to Ride for and submit it to Guest Services upon arrival to the Fair. For forms and further details, please click here. Start reading today!
NEW! Ride All Day, Any Day!
For the first time in more than 10 years, the California State Fair is honoring unlimited ride wristbands every day of the State Fair. Patrons can buy them until 10pm, and ride until 11pm. Most rides are included, but all height and safety requirements still apply. For the best deal, carnival ride enthusiasts are encouraged to buy their wristbands in advance and take advantage of the exceptional SUBWAY® Savings Days promotion.
SUBWAY® Savings Days
Begining July 6 and running through August 19, 2009. During this promotional timeframe, Sacramento area residents will be able to visit participating SUBWAY® restaurant locations and pick up a coupon good for one free admission to the California State Fair with purchase of an unlimited ride wristband.
How to Redeem
Patrons can redeem the SUBWAY® Savings Days coupon in two ways.
1. Online: Go here and order a Wristband/Admission combo, and when prompted, enter the promotional code found on the coupon.
2. Visit the Cal Expo Box Office during regular Box Office hours and present the coupon.
Each SUBWAY® Savings Days coupon is good for one (1) FREE General Admission Ticket to the 2009 California State Fair with purchase of one (1) Unlimited Ride Wristband. This discount offer is valid for State Fair wristband and admission purchases made until August 19, 2009. But the wristbands and admission tickets may be used any one day of the California State Fair, which runs August 21- September 7, 2009.
