How Can Fans Show Support For Michael?

We receive a lot of mail from fans who feel frustrated and helpless about what is happening to Michael. Not all fans have the money to travel to Santa Maria and show their support nor do they have the money to donate to the many wonderful initiatives that've been started for Michael, so we've decided to create this page in an effort to show the fans that there are 'many' ways to show your support for Michael that doesn't require money at all. The outpouring of fans who so desperately want to show Michael their love has been overwhelming to us and we hope this page will help.

Write Michael A Letter

 

There are special area's on most major MJ site's where fans can

write Michael a message of support. We recommend visiting Michael's

Start Your Own Fan Site

 

This can be done for free if you have AOL.

This is a really wonderful way to share your feelings with

other fans. It doesn't have to be a big site, it just needs to

show your love and support. A simple paragraph about how

you feel might help another fan and it will also spread the word

Attend A Vigil

 

keep checking your favorite MJ Website for vigil locations.

You never know when one might be coming to a town near you.

We were very surprised to learn that there was a vigil coming to Boston

in March of this year which proves it's worth it to keep checking.

If there isn't a vigil expected in the distant future for your local area

then it might be a good idea to suggest one and/or possibly get

involved with initiating it. MJJForum has been very involved with

the vigil initiative and contacting one of their staff might be a good idea.

Letter's To The Editor

Another great way of showing support for Michael is by speaking

out when you feel a newspaper or television program has crossed the

line concerning an issue about Michael. Take a few minutes out

of your day to write a letter to the editor about your feelings but be polite, otherwise we'll be representing Michael in a negative way. Besides, there's

a better chance of them listening to what we have to say if we are respectful.

MJ-Upbeat has never been shy to show how we feel when it comes to

speaking up in a positive way concerning Michael. We've written

many article's and have one of our letter's to 'People Magazine' & another to 'Amazon.Com' which are featured on The

Instead of a vigil, have a 'celebration' of Michael by inviting

fans to an MJ-Fan Party. Take out all your favorite old video's, tapes, CD's

and collectable's, compare nostalgia and take a walk back in time.

Arm Bands/T-Shirts

 

This is a wonderful way to show support for Michael. Wearing a white, blue or yellow arm band, wear ribbon's or make & wear T-Shirts.

These can be worn on Michael's court date's or can be worn

everyday depending on what you would like to do.

Also if you'll notice, Michael is wearing 'all white' outfits to court. Fans can also

do this as well.
